Flying L Class of 63 announces reunion plans



  • NOTICE OF PLANS:

    Please be on the lookout for a letter regarding the details of our 50th Reunion. Below is a summary and heads-up on what is in the letter.

    We have scheduled our BIG Reunion for the 2013 Memorial Day Weekend: 5/24-5/27-Friday night, Saturday and Sunday brunch. This will be held at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale beach Hotel (formerly Yankee Clipper). We have a block of rooms, ocean ...view/front, for a great group price of #149.00/night (single or double), plus tax. This rate is also guaranteed for the 2 nights before and 2 nights after the Reunion. You are encouraged to make your reservations early, by 4/24/2013, as the rooms in the main building will be limited.     The total cost of the Reunion is $130.00. However if you can‘t make all the events, the break down is: Friday night-$40.00; Saturday night-$75.00 and Sunday brunch-$30.00. We always accept donations also, to help cover expenses, deposits and other commitments. Please make your checks payable to FLHS Class of ‘63 Reunion and send to Barb Price Hume, 5947 NE 15th Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, 33334. Also, a special thanks for those that have already donated.
    The “snail mail“ letter will have a short questionnaire for us to complete/RSVP and return as soon as possible. At least by 9/1/2012.
    I don‘t know about y‘all but, now that we have a definite date, I‘m beginning to get butterflies in my stomach with excitement. Can‘t wait to see YALL!
