BOYKIN, Jessie "Lynn"
Jessie "Lynn" Boykin, 64, passed away Tues., Jan. 24, 2012. She was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Lynn was a kindergarten teacher in Dekalb County and with Peachtree City First Baptist Church. She was a member of New Hope Baptist since 1995. She is survived by her husband, Don Boykin of 43 years, Tyrone; sons, Shawn Boykin and his wife Julie of Huntsville, Al., Eric Boykin of Buckhead; grandsons Michael and Patrick Boykin; sister Sharon Williamson; brothers Buddy Wells and Jeff Wells. A funeral service will be held on Fri., Jan. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the New Hope, Fayetteville, Ga., with the Rev. Rhys Stenner and Rev. Al Mead officiating. Mrs. Boykin will lie in state at the church from 10-11 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
